Nala Reviews Terms of Service

These terms apply to merchants using Nala Reviews with a Shopify store. By installing or using the app, the merchant agrees to use it lawfully and in accordance with Shopify's platform rules and the terms of any connected review source.

Service

Nala Reviews provides tools to collect, import, synchronize, moderate, and display reviews. Feature availability can depend on the merchant's Shopify plan for Nala Reviews, connected providers, and provider API availability.

Merchant responsibilities

Merchants are responsible for the legality and accuracy of content they import, publish, or reply to; for obtaining any permissions required to contact their customers; and for keeping Shopify and external-source credentials secure.

Review integrity

Merchants must not use Nala Reviews to fabricate reviews or misrepresent a review as a verified purchase. Imported review text remains attributable to its source, and Nala Reviews may limit functionality that would undermine review provenance or platform requirements.

Third-party services

Shopify, marketplaces, business-profile providers, email delivery providers, and other connected services operate under their own terms. Their outages, rate limits, or API changes may temporarily affect synchronization or delivery.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are managed through Shopify. Charges, billing cycles, cancellations, and applicable refunds are governed by the pricing and billing information presented through Shopify.

Availability and changes

The service may be changed to improve reliability, security, compliance, or functionality. We may suspend abusive or unlawful use or use that threatens the service or other merchants.
